I found myself collected into both past and present
Feeling the sun's welcoming address
Along with the power of the passing storm
I could not help but contemplate life's competing ladder climbers
While seemingly fragile visitors stop by to interact with them
You captured a moment in time that radiates to me restfulness
I can look at it and anticipate new beginnings
The respect that should belong to each one in the group
and that being the same is quietly strong
I came by for a visit and left with a marvelous gift
